Letter to the Neighbors | V. Emanuel

Hello,

Don't worry, this isn't a letter asking for a charitable contribution.

I don't want to take up a lot of your time so I'll get to the point. I've had a website on the Internet since 1998 at http://www.scientology-kills.org. This is a site that's critical of the Church of Scientology, and needless to say, that organization isn't fond of me. I've also worked for the U.S. Postal Service since 1984.

Last year the Scientologists had one of their lawyers send a letter to the Postal Inspectors that accused me of stealing something from the mail. I've enclosed a copy of the lawyer's letter and the letter clearing me from the Postal Inspectors for you to read. The main comment the Inspectors had was, "Why did they wait four years to complain about this package?"

The reason I've chosen to send this information to you as my neighbor is simple-the Scientologists aren't finished.  Recently a black car has been seen cruising around and a man inside has been taking pictures of my house. He wears dark sunglasses, and refused to identify himself when one of our neighbors confronted him. He left when she told him she would call the police. He may be a private investigator sent by the cult.They may also put flyers around calling me a bigot. I suppose in their eyes I am. One of their other charming tactics is stealing trash, but we've shredded anything personal since the Postal Inspector episode, so if they want our vegetable peelings and coffee grounds more power to them.
